What We Do

The Scottish Historical Review Trust aims to encourage research and publication in the field of Scottish History. We produce The Scottish Historical Review and an important Monograph Series promoting major works of scholarly research. Committed to furthering equality, diversity, and inclusion, we also offer research bursaries and organise events like the Jenny Wormald Lecture series. You can read more about the Trust's progress and ongoing work on our 'taking stock' news page. Uniting Trustees, Editors, and journal advisors from across the globe, the SHRT forms a key focal point for all those interested in Scotland's past.

The Trust is glad to receive enquiries about its work and hear your ideas about how we can best advocate for the history of Scotland and its peoples. Feel free to get in touch with the Convener, Professor Laura Stewart: laura.stewart@york.ac.uk
